Stand Up

I was asked to write and perform a stand-up comedy act. I was really scared, and quite concerned about the prospect of standing in front of lots of people and trying to make them laugh. As I was struggling, a woman gave me the idea to focus my attention on the theme of ‘the first year of my life’. This seemed to help, but I was still nervous.
