I was back at school, and we were putting on a big performance for charity. Lots of celebrities were turning up and it was a very glamorous occasion. I had to escort Jennifer Lopez around for the evening and, as she was getting ready, I had to hold her hand while she had her legs waxed! I remember thinking what hairy legs she had…
I was wearing a lovely 1920s dress, in black, with fringes that moved around. I felt very sophisticated, but was wearing the wrong kind of shoes. I asked J-Lo if she had any shoes I could borrow, but we had different size feet. I was a bit nervous about performing because I didn’t know the words to my song properly, and might have had to read them from a sheet.
