Areas of Outstanding Natural Banality

October 2006, web based

I always take photographs of things I see on my day-to-day travels, things that you might not notice as you rush on by. For this project I decided to develop this into an interactive project, where people could share their everyday photos. I was commissioned by Folly in Lancaster to make a piece of work for their f.city festival. Using the Flickr photo sharing website, I created a group called Areas of Outstanding Natural Banality for people to post their own photos and to open discussion around these.

This is an ongoing project and you can join the Flickr Group at any time to add your images.
